House rules

Welcome to the Borbarát Guesthouse in Eger! We would very much like your stay to be pleasant and undisturbed, and we would be delighted if you would return again! In order to ensure that your stay is undisturbed and that the guesthouse can be used by others on an equal footing with you, please read the house rules!

House Rules

1. The accommodation is available from 14:00 on the day of arrival until 10:00 on the day of departure. Alternative arrangements are flexible and can be arranged in advance with the accommodation provider. Please arrive before 8 pm on the day of arrival if possible. Please inform us by phone if you arrive later!

2. Upon arrival, you will be required to hand over your personal documents (passport or identity card, address card) to the host for identification purposes.

4. Guests will receive a key to the guest house upon registration. You will be informed about the use of the keys and the discounts available.

5. Only registered guests are allowed in the guest house, visitors are only allowed during the day with the permission of the owner.

6. Please smoke in the designated smoking area. This ban also applies to electric cigarettes and IQOS! Please limit smoking to the designated area and use the ashtrays!

7. Our guest house is located in a residential-recreational area. Please be considerate of the residents in the area! Avoid loud noise and loud music between 22.00 and 8.00 hours!

8. No animals are allowed in the guest house!

9. In the garden there is the possibility of barbecuing, grilling and spit-roasting, for which we can provide firewood free of charge. Please let us know 1 day in advance so that we can prepare the location accordingly.

10. Please do not leave the guest house unattended, if you leave it during the day, be sure to lock the windows and the front door.

11. There is a small first aid kit in the drawer opposite the entrance. In case of a major emergency, call 104 or 112.

12. Children under the age of 14 must be under the constant supervision of a parent or other adult relative in the guest house and garden. The person accompanying the child is responsible for the child’s safety and any damage caused by the child. Guests under 14 years of age may use the services of our guest house only if accompanied by a parent or other adult relative.

13. The bin by the entrance door is for the collection of selective waste (paper, milk and juice cartons, mineral water bottles, beer cans). When these are full, place the full bags outside the front door and we will take care of their removal. More bin bags are available in the kitchen drawers.

14. There are 2 types of coffee maker in the kitchen. For the electric coffee maker we provide coffee grounds free of charge.

15. The guest house has a well-equipped kitchen, use the dining room for meals, do not bring food into the bedrooms! We kindly ask our guests to put the used dishes in the dishwasher before leaving. Guests are provided with 1 dishwasher capsule per day free of charge.

16. We kindly ask you to leave your street shoes in the hallway to keep them clean, and guest slippers can be found in the drawer opposite the entrance if necessary!

17. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and disinfected on departure. For longer stays, cleaning, towel and bed linen change will be provided every 7 days.

18. As the NAV requires the accommodation provider to invoice, the invoice must include the name and address of one of the guests and, if the guest is a company, the tax number of the company. Our invoicing software will send you an invoice if you do not insist on a printed invoice, provided you enter an e-mail address.  

19. The owner declares that the data of the guest(s) will not be used for any other purpose than and only for the above obligations, the owner will not store the data in printed form.
